Wikileaks: The reason for Google left China

The United States is convinced that Chinese authorities are involved in computer piracy Google and Western states, according to secret documents revealed by theĀ  New York Times Sunday.

Among the revealed secret diplomatic telegrams website Wikileaks, a document from the U.S. Embassy in Beijing cites a “Chinese source” that the communist regime played a role in the piracy of American Internet giant, according to American newspaper.

“Google is part of pirating an information campaign organized by officials, private experts in security and hackers recruited by the Chinese government,” the telegram quoted by the New York Times.

Chinese services had penetrated computer networks in the U.S. and their allies, as well as those of the Dalai Lama, the daily added.

In March, Google announced that it will comply with Chinese government order to censor its search engine, explaining that he was the victim of coordinated attacks.

Accounts for “gmail” of Chinese dissidents have been broken in these attacks, Google revealed.

Offensive hackers from China have been raised earlier by the United States, but Washington has so far avoided publicly denouncing the regime in Beijing.
