Two deadly bombs attacked Pakistan; 33 killed.

Pakistan administered regions close to the Afghan border, were attacked by 2 bombs. At least 33 people died, said the officials.

Deadliest blast was a suicide attack inside a religious school in South Waziristan that killed 25 people and injured 40 more. The target of the attak was Maulana Noor Mohamma (a former lawmaker who ran the school).

Yar Mohammad, a local tribesman who was inside the mosque at the attacked time said it was a suicide blast.

The second attack was a bomb who exploded inside a school in the Kurran region at a meeting of the Kurram Tribal Elders, killing seven people.

The death toll from these attacks is feared to rise, as many of the survivors of the blasts are stated to be in critical condition.

The army has launched offensives in South Waziristan and Kurram over the last 18 months. There is little or no government presence in either area.

It is belived that it was the work of Islamic militants who have done similar bombings in the past.
