The alleged organizer of the terrorist attacks of September 11, remained in jail without trial

The alleged organizer of the September 11 attacks in the United States, Khaled Sheik Mohammed will likely remain in jail without trial.

Citing U.S. administration officials who requested anonymity to be respected, the newspaper says that Barack Obama’s administration concluded that Mohammed can not bring before a federal court due to opposition congressmen and New York City.

Guantanamo military trial solution is not claimed neither she, as President and would remove some of the more progressive supporters, the American daily show.

According to officials quoted by the newspaper, the process should take place before presidential elections and will require a different political environment.

Obama administration’s decision on location and type of jurisdiction before which will compare the five men accused of having organized the September 11 attacks, including attacks the brain’s self-proclaimed, are “close” Wednesday assured the Secretary of Justice, Eric Holder.

Holder announced a year ago that the process will take place before a court of common law in New York and not before a tribunal at Guantanamo exception. He was contradicted, however, in March, the White House announced it would review that decision.

Khaled Sheikh Mohammed and four other defendants are currently imprisoned at Guantanamo.
