Pope Benedict XVI was met in Barcelona by a group of 200 members of the gay community

Pope Benedict XVI was greeted Sunday at Barcelona 200 members of the gay community, men and women who have kissed the Pope crossing demo.

For five minutes, members of the group – called social networking through Facebook – and kissed, while the Pope’s convoy was heading to the Sagrada Familia.

Among them, supporters of the Sovereign Pontiff, who came to Barcelona in the early hours of the morning, they waved flags in the Vatican colors, yellow and white. To occupy the best places, some believers have spent the night near the cathedral.

Pope Benedict XVI blessed the Sunday Sagrada Familia basilica rising to the rank of major building that dominates the Catalan city, designed by architect Antoni Gaudi and still under construction at 128 years of starting work.
