Obama Visits US Injured Soldires Before Addressing the Nation

President Barack Obama has made a visit to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Monday. It was his second visit since taking office. He met there in private with more than 20 injured soldiers from the U.S. Military who had served in Afghanistan or Iraq.

Some of them, got rewarded by the President, with the Purple Heart, a military decoration for those who are either injured or killed during their service. Obama’s visit to wounded soldiers comes on the eve of the formal end to the U.S. combat operations in Iraq.

Obama, will also travel to Fort Bliss, Texas on Tuesday to talk and thank soldiers for their service and efforts that they made for the U.S In Iraq, and he is then expected to return to Washington to address the Nation with the news that the Iraqis are now the ones in charge of the war.
