Microsoft to borrow because it can not repatriate the 28 billion abroad

Microsoft’s largest software producer in the world, intends to borrow this year “as much as possible” to pay dividends and share repurchases, the company having a lot of cash locked outside the United States, told Bloomberg a source close to the situation, says Telegraph Business.

The group is expected to borrow as much as possible in financial markets, but without threatening one’s top rated “AAA”, the source said.

Microsoft could issue bonds up to $ 6 billion without reducing risk rating, according to Bloomberg calculations.

Shareholders are pushing the company’s general director, Steve Ballmer, asking him to use part of the liquidity of 36.8 billion dollars (28 billion) available for dividends and repurchases of shares by which to “reward” investors .
