3rd Cricket Battle Between Australia and England

Another part of real battle in the field of cricket between two arch rivals is underway in Perth.

3rd test between Australia and England has completed its day 2. At the start of the day 2, the analysts were saying that England got the game well in control after bowling out Australian for just 268 runs but at the end of Day 2, cricket analysts were forced to change their views in favour of Australia.

Thanks to MG Johnson, who demolished England batting line-up and restricted them well under 200.

England won the toss and decided to bowl first, the decision of bowling first really surprised the experts but when England stepped into the ground with the bowl, they proved their decision right.

England bowlers were in the same rhythm as they were in the last match. Australia’s openers failed once again and Australia lost its first five wickets for just 69 runs. Then came the fighter, Hussey, he managed to build his inning and gave some kind of relief to his dressing room. Finally, Australian batting tail played well and provided a reasonable total on the board having said that for experts, the total was not enough for England batting line-up.

England started in a very confident way and the openers provided a solid 78 runs start, till then, England was in the driving seat and then Cook and Trott got out and Peterson followed him without scoring. All three wickets were taken by Johnson and he simply changed the scenario of the game.

England got out on just 187 runs and provided another chance to Australia to come back in the series.

On day 2 stumps, Australia scored 119 runs for the loss of 3 wickets with the lead of 200 runs.
